Jay Cutler picked the perfect time to post the highest passer rating of his five-year NFL career.

The veteran quarterback threw for 247 yards and tied a career-high with four touchdown passes in leading the Bears to a huge 31-26 win over the Philadelphia Eagles Sunday at Soldier Field.

“He’s had some good performances,” said coach Lovie Smith. “I have a hard time remembering exactly what happened back in the past. I just knew he had a good week of practice and we’ve seen signs of our offense making progress. With him playing like that, we’re going to be hard to beat.”
